ALL MY RELATIONS is a feature documentary about the near-extinction of 3 wildlife species only found in North America - the wild American bison, the chinook salmon and the black-footed ferret - and the American Indian communities fighting for their survival. Decimated by similar forces in history, American Indian tribes are reviving their ancestral relationship with wildlife and in so doing becoming increasingly pivotal actors in American conservation. Shot on location at Fort Peck and Fort Belknap Indian Reservations (Montana), Nez Perce Reservation (Idaho) and Lower Brule Sioux Reservation (South Dakota), the film looks at the factors and mindset that have contributed to a global extinction crisis and considers what's needed to arrest the damage.
